Key Responsibilities:
- Design and development of engine components (castings, geartrain, valvetrain, drivetrain, in-cylinder components)
- Support system-level design (cooling, lubrication, breather, FEAD)
- Lead project tasks and manage deliverables
- Perform FMEA and risk analysis
- Create and release engineering drawings and documentation
- Work closely with suppliers using APQP methodologies
- Participate in design reviews and validation activities
Key Skills:
- Minimum 6 years' experience in design engineering
- Advanced CAD skills (Creo preferred)
- Strong understanding of IC engine systems and components
- Knowledge of casting, machining, and manufacturing processes
- Experience with assembly principles and design validation
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
