Senior Delivery Manager - Hybrid - 9 months - £650 pd inside IR35 - Government

One of our government clients is recruiting for a Senior Delivery Manager to join them in a 9 month contract. This role is inside IR35 and offering £650 per day. They are hybrid working and can offer bases in either London, Manchester or Bristol, 2 days per week onsite.

As Senior Delivery Manager, you will play a critical leadership role in driving delivery across complex workstreams, ensuring successful coordination between commercial, technical, policy and programme teams. You will need to be comfortable working within ambiguity, establishing delivery structures, driving accountability, and leading cross-functional teams through significant transformation and complex commercial activity

Experience Required:

• Significant experience delivering complex programmes, projects or transformations within government or large organisations.
• Experience establishing and maintaining programme governance and delivery controls including identifying and managing risks, issues, dependencies, blockers and key milestones.
• Experience managing multiple workstreams in fast-paced and ambiguous environments.
• Strong stakeholder management skills with experience influencing senior leaders.
• Experience working across multidisciplinary teams including policy, commercial, digital and technical specialists.
• Demonstrable ability to lead delivery through influence rather than hierarchy.
• Experience of cloud technology, digital transformation or large technology procurements.
• Knowledge of government governance processes.
• Experience supporting business case development and approvals processes.
• Familiarity with Agile, MSP, PRINCE2 or similar methodologies.
