Senior Delivery Manager (agile, Digital, Energy)

Summary: The Senior Delivery Manager role at a Technology Consultancy in Edinburgh focuses on leading the delivery of a digital Energy Trading Platform within complex, regulated environments. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in digital software delivery, Agile practices, and knowledge of the Energy industry. This position requires a blend of Agile, Lean, and traditional project methodologies to ensure successful project outcomes. The role is outside IR35 and involves a hybrid working arrangement with two days per week onsite.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the delivery of a digital Energy Trading Platform across multiple internal and external teams.
• Ensure projects align with client requirements and are delivered successfully.
• Combine Agile, Lean, and traditional project delivery methodologies for platform build and roll-out.
• Drive collaboration and stakeholder management to enhance internal and external delivery.
• Mobilise and manage software delivery across multiple teams, enhancing team performance.
• Develop, grow, and coach effective delivery teams, promoting best practices.
• Communicate effectively with all stakeholders involved in the project.

Key Skills:

• Experience in Digital Delivery and Programme Management within digitally led technology environments.
• Experience within complex corporate environments, particularly in the Energy sector.
• Demonstrable Agile Software Delivery experience in regulated environments.
• Strong collaboration and stakeholder management skills.
• Track record of managing software delivery across multiple teams in Agile environments.
• Ability to develop and coach effective delivery teams.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Understanding of Trading Systems and experience in Energy Trading is advantageous.
