Senior Data Scientist

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client in Brooklyn, NY that is seeking an experienced Senior Data Scientist to support product and operations teams by delivering data-driven insights, reporting, and analytical solutions. This role focuses on partnering with cross-functional teams to improve product performance, optimize user experience, and enable informed decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:
* Partner with product, operations, and engineering teams to analyze data and identify opportunities for improvement
* Develop and maintain key metrics, dashboards, and reporting solutions
* Conduct exploratory and proactive analyses to support business initiatives
* Design and evaluate A/B tests and experimentation frameworks
* Translate complex data findings into clear, actionable insights for stakeholders
* Leverage behavioral and transactional data to drive product and business strategy

REQUIREMENTS:
* 4+ years of experience as a Data Scientist or Analyst supporting product teams
* Strong SQL skills with the ability to work with large datasets
* Experience with A/B testing and product experimentation
* Proven ability to communicate insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
* Demonstrated success simplifying complex problems into concise, impactful narratives

Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with statistical analysis and modeling techniques
* Proficiency in Python, R, or similar tools
* Background in customer support analytics or customer experience data
* Curious, analytical mindset with a focus on continuous improvement

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
