Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and deploy GenAI-driven solutions to solve exploratory and analytical problems.
- Collaborate closely with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to define objectives and deliverables.
- Apply experimental, hypothesis-driven methods to uncover insights from structured and unstructured data.
- Work hands-on with GCP, including Gemini and ideally Vertex AI.
- Mentor mid-level Data Scientists and contribute to team best practices.
- Present findings clearly and persuasively to technical and non-technical audiences.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience as a Senior Data Scientist within consulting or complex enterprise environments.
- Strong track record delivering AI-specific projects.
- Hands-on experience with Generative AI frameworks and large language model experimentation.

This is a hands-on data science and GenAI-focused role - perfect for consultants who thrive in exploratory environments and enjoy shaping intelligent, data-driven solutions from the ground up. You'll be working across two forward-looking AI projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to develop cutting-edge solutions for real-world business problems in the insurance and financial sectors. The Projects Project 1 - High Net Worth Insights Exploring how high-net-worth individuals use insurance: identifying behavioural patterns, risk profiles, and key needs. Work will include leveraging GenAI to analyse qualitative data (eg, descriptions, postcodes, and risk attributes) and tagging these against company codes . The project may involve building AI models that understand and generate meaningful insights from unstructured data. Project 2 - Smarter Client Onboarding Using data science and AI to streamline client questionnaires and reduce onboarding drop-off rates. You'll help design and validate models that improve engagement and efficiency in client journeys through predictive and generative approaches. What You'll Do Develop and deploy GenAI-driven solutions to solve exploratory and analytical problems. What We're Looking For Proven experience as a Senior Data Scientist within consulting or complex enterprise environments. Strong track record delivering AI-specific (not ML engineering) projects. Hands-on experience with Generative AI (GenAI) frameworks and large language model experimentation. Solid understanding of GCP ; exposure to Gemini and Vertex AI is highly desirable. Comfortable working on experimental/exploratory projects with open-ended goals. Confident stakeholder manager, capable of navigating multiple priorities and influencing decision-making. Experience mentoring or coaching junior Data Scientists. Nice to Have Exposure to ML Engineering concepts (pipelines, model ops), but this is not an ML Engineer role.
