A bit about the job

We’re looking for a Senior Data Product Owner to join our Digital Experience & Marketing workstream Customer & Marketing team, supporting the Aviva/DLG customer data and analytics integration programme. You’ll lead the vision, roadmap and backlog for our customer data products across tactical, transitional and long-term future states — helping create a consistent, high quality customer data foundation across Aviva and DLG. You’ll work closely with teams across data, technology, digital and marketing to prioritise what matters most and deliver value incrementally as part of a major integration programme. Your work will play a key role in unlocking the benefits of the DLG acquisition, supporting better customer journeys, stronger insight and smarter decision making. You’ll also be a champion for high quality, well governed customer data across the end-to-end value chain.

Skills and experience we’re looking for

  • Proven leadership in complex product delivery , with experience owning mature roadmaps and driving value led outcomes.
  • Able to turn ambiguity into clarity , shaping structured deliverables and balancing competing priorities across fast evolving programmes.
  • A strong understanding of financial services , ideally with experience delivering data led solutions that support operational, regulatory and strategic goals.
  • Confident applying data principles in line with legal, regulatory and risk requirements , with good awareness of data governance.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills , with a track record of influencing stakeholders across business, data and tech teams.
