Databricks Engineer – Contract
Outside IR35 | 6-month initial contract | Midlands/North | Hybrid
We’re working with a fast-growing data & analytics consultancy looking for experienced Databricks Engineers to support a number of client projects.
This is a hands-on contract for someone who knows Databricks inside out and is comfortable delivering scalable data platforms and pipelines within complex client environments.
What we're looking for
- Strong commercial experience with Azure Databricks
- Excellent Python, PySpark and SQL skills
- Experience building and optimising production-grade data pipelines
- Strong understanding of lakehouse architectures and modern data platforms
- Experience with CI/CD and engineering best practices
- Comfortable working within client-facing environments
- Able to work independently and take ownership of technical delivery
- Exposure to Azure Data Factory, Microsoft Fabric, Azure Data Lake and wider Azure data tooling would be beneficial.

Approximately 1 day per week onsite across the Midlands/North
Day rate negotiable depending on experience
