Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain data pipelines for structured and unstructured data
  • Develop ELT workflows using Azure Databricks (PySpark)
  • Write performant SQL and apply good data modelling practices
  • Support batch and near–real-time data processing use cases
  • Work with Azure services such as Event Hubs, Storage Accounts, and Key Vault
  • Contribute to data governance and security best practices
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver pragmatic solutions

Key Skills:

  • Strong experience as a Data Engineer in an Azure environment
  • Hands-on Databricks and PySpark development experience
  • Solid SQL and relational database knowledge
  • Experience supporting data pipelines in production environments
  • Good communication skills and ability to work with non-technical stakeholders
  • Exposure to streaming solutions (Structured Streaming, Auto Loader) - nice to have
  • Experience with Unity Catalog or data governance tooling - nice to have
  • Salesforce or Data Cloud integrations - nice to have

We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer to join a Product & Technology team supporting an enterprise data platform used for analytics, reporting, and data-driven decision-making across the business. This role will focus on building and maintaining scalable data pipelines within an Azure-based data platform, working closely with product, data, and business teams to deliver reliable and high-quality data solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain data pipelines for structured and unstructured data
  • Develop ELT workflows using Azure Databricks (PySpark)
  • Write performant SQL and apply good data modelling practices
