Senior Data Engineer
Rate: To £650 p/d Inside IR35
Duration: 6 months
Work Arrangements: Hybrid - 3 days in Central London office
Public facing, household name, critical national infrastructure organisation are seeking an experienced Data Engineer with a strong background in modern data engineering practices and technologies.
It is a great opportunity to work on challenging, large-scale data projects and deliver real business value.
Key Responsibilities & Requirements:
- Design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines using modern data engineering best practices
- Hands-on development with ETL/ELT processes, data lake architectures, and ideally Medallion architecture principles
- Strong experience AWS data services (S3, Glue, and Athena)
- Proficient in Git for source control and release management
- Contribute to solution design discussions, including data consumption and reporting layers
Nice to have:
- Front End or reporting/visualisation experience to help bridge the gap between data engineering and end-user needs
- Experience with SnapLogic
You'll be working with cutting-edge tools in a collaborative environment, helping shape scalable and efficient data platforms.
