Senior Data Architect

Summary: The Ministry of Justice is seeking a Senior Data Architect for a 6-month hybrid contract in London, requiring SC Clearance. Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to interpret organizational data needs and represent them in data architecture.
• Design and implement AWS cloud data architecture.
• Deliver enterprise-level data models and data warehouse designs for analytical and operational purposes.
• Provide oversight and advice to data and analytics engineers on data artifacts.
• Support the management of data dictionaries and engage with business stakeholders.
• Design data platforms to meet operational and analytical requirements.
• Establish connectivity with downstream data systems and conduct user needs analysis for dimensional model design.

Key Skills:

• Experience with stakeholder engagement and data architecture representation.
• Hands-on experience with AWS cloud data architecture.
• Proven delivery of enterprise-level data models and data warehouse design.
• Experience in designing data warehouses for analytical and BI purposes.
• Knowledge of data architecture across different business areas.
• Experience in supporting data dictionary management.
• Strong SQL and jinja skills, with programming experience in Python.
• Experience with dbt and building CI/CD workflows.
