We're seeking an experienced Senior Data Architect to join our team within the banking sector.

This role is crucial for guiding data architecture, design, and strategy as we transition from Legacy systems to modern data solutions. This role requires not only technical expertise but also strong communication skills to present and align data strategies with C-Suite executives.

Responsibilities:

Database Solutions: Develop robust solutions to store, manage, and retrieve critical company information.

System Configuration: Install and configure information systems to ensure full operational functionality.

Requirement Analysis: Work with stakeholders to define structural requirements for new software and applications.

Model Design: Create conceptual and logical data models and flowcharts to streamline data flows.

Performance Optimization: Conduct testing, troubleshoot issues, and integrate new elements to enhance system performance.

Database Optimization: Work on new and existing database systems to optimize for scalability and efficiency.

Security Protocols: Define and implement security and backup procedures to protect company data.

Cross-Department Collaboration: Coordinate closely with the Data Science team to identify future data needs and requirements.

Operational Support: Provide essential support for Management Information Systems (MIS) to ensure smooth operations.

Experience:

10+ years in data architecture, design, and strategy, with proven experience in the banking industry.

Extensions experience with GCP Cloud

C-Suite Presentations: Must have experience preparing and delivering data-related presentations for C-suite executives.

Legacy to Modern Migration: Expertise in migration projects, moving from Legacy to cutting-edge data solutions.

Technical Skills:

Deep understanding of database structures and principles.

Ability to gather, analyze, and interpret system requirements.

Proficient in SQL and Oracle, with strong knowledge of data mining and segmentation.

Advanced MS Excel skills.

Data Visualization: Experience with tools like Tableau, D3.js, and R is highly desirable.
