Summary: The Senior Data Analyst role involves joining a leading fashion retail organization in Central London on a 12-month contract. The position focuses on driving data-led decision-making across various business areas, including Sales, Commercial, and Finance. The analyst will be responsible for delivering insights, leading analyses, and partnering with stakeholders to address complex challenges. This role requires a strong background in retail and advanced analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver data-driven insights and recommendations to support business decisions.
- Lead end-to-end analysis, from problem definition and data extraction through to visualisation and stakeholder presentations.
- Define, track, and maintain KPIs and performance reporting.
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to solve complex business challenges using data.
- Apply advanced analytics techniques to support strategic initiatives.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience as a Data Analyst, Business Analyst, Product Analyst, or similar.
- Strong retail experience, particularly within sales, commercial, and/or merchandising functions.
- Advanced SQL skills for analysing large datasets.
- Expert-level Power BI experience.
- Experience working with GCP/BigQuery or similar cloud analytics platforms.
- Strong Excel skills, including Power Query, Power Pivot, and DAX.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present insights to senior stakeholders.
