Summary: Belcan Workforce Solutions is looking for a Senior Data Analyst for a long-term, fully on-site role in Southampton. The position involves supporting a complex operational program by analyzing high-quality data to inform decision-making. The contract is initially for 12 months with a strong possibility of extension, and the role is classified as inside IR35. The analyst will also mentor junior team members while producing management-level reports and insights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Importing, cleansing, validating, and analyzing data across SAP, Microsoft Office, and Power BI environments.
- Locating and structuring data to draw clear conclusions and recommendations.
- Producing concise, management-level reports and presentations.
- Working closely with stakeholders across multiple departments to identify trends, correlations, and opportunities for data quality improvement.
- Providing guidance and mentoring to junior analysts to support capability development within the team.
Key Skills:
- Advanced experience with SAP, Power BI, and Microsoft Office.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Belcan Workforce Solutions is seeking an experienced Senior Data Analyst to join a long-term assignment based fully on site in Southampton. This is a high-impact role supporting a complex operational programme where high-quality data and insight are critical to effective decision-making. The contract is offered for an initial 12 months, with a strong likelihood of extension up to two years. The role is inside IR35, with rates dependent on experience.
You will be responsible for importing, cleansing, validating and analysing data across SAP, Microsoft Office and Power BI environments. The role requires not only locating and structuring data but also drawing clear conclusions and recommendations from it. You will produce concise, management-level reports and presentations, working closely with stakeholders across multiple departments to identify trends, correlations and opportunities to improve data quality and performance. As a Senior Data Analyst, you will also provide guidance and mentoring to junior analysts, supporting capability development within the wider team.
This position is fully site-based in Southampton, and preference will be given to local candidates who can commit to on-site working.

- Hours: 37.5 per week
- Contract: 12 months initially, likely to extend to 2 years

- Rates: £24.82 - £43.58 per hour PAYE or £32.72 - £56.14 per hour Umbrella - Dependent on experience
