Summary: The role of Senior Analyst involves supporting a major IFS Cloud integration programme, focusing on Data Migration and various integrations. The position requires technical expertise and leadership, managing a team of Data Analysts while ensuring the accuracy and governance of complex data activities. The analyst will work closely with senior stakeholders to translate business requirements into data solutions and oversee multiple migration-related projects. This hands-on role is essential for the successful execution of the integration programme across multiple workstreams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support and help lead the Data Migration workstream within the IFS Cloud programme.
- Manage the collection, consolidation, validation, cleansing, and reconciliation of complex manual and system-derived datasets.
- Coordinate migration activities across multiple source systems and business units, ensuring data accuracy and completeness.
- Support system-to-system integrations aligned to IFS Cloud, CE Portal, Labs, Data Lake, and Advanced Forms.
- Ensure data is migration-ready, governed, and fit for purpose for downstream systems and reporting.
- Perform advanced data analysis, cleansing, validation, and transformation on large and complex datasets.
- Support data integration pipelines into the enterprise Data Lake.
- Build, review, and validate Power BI datasets and reports to support migration assurance and business insight.
- Use SQL extensively for data extraction, validation, reconciliation, and troubleshooting.
- Ensure strong data governance, lineage, and auditability throughout the migration lifecycle.
- Line-manage and coordinate a team of Data Analysts, allocating tasks and assuring quality of outputs.
- Act as a technical data consultant to senior stakeholders, translating business requirements into structured data solutions.
- Work closely with business users, system owners, and integration partners to resolve data issues.
- Support multiple migration-related projects simultaneously within a complex programme environment.

Key Skills:
- Proven experience working on data migration and system integration programmes, ideally involving ERP platforms.
- Strong hands-on experience with: Power BI (data modelling, validation, business-facing reporting), SQL (data extraction, validation, reconciliation), Excel (advanced data manipulation and analysis), Data Lakes/enterprise data platforms.
- Strong experience handling complex data: cleansing, validation, governance, and quality assurance.
- Experience working in business-facing roles, engaging with non-technical stakeholders.
- Ability to manage and prioritise multiple workstreams and projects within a migration programme.
- Strong understanding of data integration and system-to-system dependencies.
- Background in utilities domain.
- Experience with IFS Cloud or similar ERP platforms.

Role Overview
We are seeking a Senior Analyst to support a major IFS Cloud integration programme, working across multiple workstreams including Data Migration, Labs Integration, CE Portal, Data Lake Integration, and Advanced Forms.
The role will act as a technical data specialist and consultant, partnering closely with the Head of Data & Analytics and Business Insight Manager, while also helping lead the Data Migration workstream. This includes managing a team of Data Analysts and taking ownership of complex, business-critical data activities across two source organisations.
