Summary: The Senior Data Analyst role involves delivering high-impact data solutions for enterprise clients within a leading consultancy. This contract position requires expertise in data modelling, analytics, and cloud-based solutions, with a focus on driving data-driven decision-making. The analyst will work collaboratively with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions while ensuring data quality and governance. The role is hybrid, requiring three days onsite in Canary Wharf and two days remote work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable data models to support business intelligence and analytics use cases
  • Perform complex data analysis to uncover insights and support strategic decision-making
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
  • Build and optimise data pipelines using Python and SQL
  • Work with cloud-based data platforms to manage and process large datasets
  • Ensure data quality, integrity, and governance standards are maintained
  • Present findings and insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences

Key Skills:

  • Strong experience in data modelling (conceptual, logical, and physical)
  • Advanced proficiency in Python for data analysis and transformation
  • Expert-level SQL skills, including performance optimisation
  • Proven experience working with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Experience handling large, complex datasets in a consultancy or client-facing environment
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, delivery-focused environment
  • Desirable: Experience with modern data stack tools (e.g. Snowflake, Databricks, BigQuery)
  • Desirable: Familiarity with data visualisation tools (e.g. Power BI, Tableau)
  • Desirable: Knowledge of data governance and best practices

They are seeking a highly skilled Senior Data Analyst to join their team on a 12-month contract. This role will play a critical part in driving data-driven decision-making through robust data modelling, analytics, and cloud-based solutions.
