Senior Cyber Security Project Managers - Reading (occasionally and remote) 12 months! ONLY APPLY IF YOU HAVE WORKED ON CYBER SECURITY PROJECTS

The Cyber Project Manager will be responsible for planning, execution, and delivery of Cyber, Network and Data classification platform changes within the Digital Security portfolio. You will deliver projects that support various initiatives within the Business to upgrade existing services such as Network monitoring, IDS, IPS. On-board new security products for Data classification and solutions to our internal end users and support the wider operation with security and compliance. You will run a multitude of different projects, including proof of concepts for new technologies such as email security and document sensitivity. Implementation of SAST, DAST principles , Network segmentation. You will also be refreshing and replacing existing platforms and services.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities

  • Running projects from the initiation through to delivery and closure within the agreed timescales.
  • Ensuring all projects are resourced, planned, and controlled correctly, using the tools necessary to manage scope, time, risk, and quality.
  • Working with Business and IT stakeholders to define scope and solutions of projects, whilst resolving issues, as necessary.
  • Ensuring relevant project stakeholders are engaged appropriately.
  • Working directly with appointed technical leads and project team members to provide support and direction as required, contributing towards overall project objectives.
  • Following delivery, providing lessons learned and activity-based actions to improve the department's delivery capability.
  • Managing changes in scope and priorities in an effective and controlled manner.
  • Experience in managing projects with Agile methodologies and using Azure DevOps for Agile Scrum management.
