Summary: Senior Cyber Security Analyst position available on a 6-month contract basis, offering £371 per day with a hybrid working model. The role involves enhancing operational resilience and supporting the Cyber Transformation Programme within a central ICT Cyber Security team. Key Responsibilities:

  • Security monitoring using CrowdStrike Falcon (EDR) and log management tools
  • Supporting NIST CSF/ISO 27001-aligned compliance and governance activities
  • Vulnerability tracking, reporting, and remediation coordination with infrastructure teams
  • Supporting incident logging, risk registers, and root-cause reviews
  • Acting as a bridge between technical teams and governance/compliance functions

Key Skills:

  • Practical experience using CrowdStrike Falcon
  • Strong understanding of NIST/ISO 27001/Cyber Essentials frameworks
  • Experience working with Microsoft Entra and/or Google Workspace
  • Strong documentation, stakeholder engagement, and coordination skills
  • Public sector/local authority experience is a plus but not essential

Senior Cyber Security Analyst contract opportunity

This is a 6-month contract offering £371 per day (PAYE + flexible paid holiday), with a hybrid working model (1-2 days onsite in Hackney, 3-4 remote).

The role sits within a central ICT Cyber Security team and is focused on strengthening operational resilience and supporting the Cyber Transformation Programme. It is a hands-on position covering:

  • Security monitoring using CrowdStrike Falcon (EDR) and log management tools
  • Supporting NIST CSF/ISO 27001-aligned compliance and governance activities
  • Vulnerability tracking, reporting, and remediation coordination with infrastructure teams
  • Supporting incident logging, risk registers, and root-cause reviews
  • Acting as a bridge between technical teams and governance/compliance functions

They're ideally looking for someone with:

  • Practical experience using CrowdStrike Falcon
  • Strong understanding of NIST/ISO 27001/Cyber Essentials frameworks
