Senior Cyber Engineering Consultant

Key Responsibilities

• Lead cyber and information security activities across complex engineering programmes
• Support secure-by-design principles and MoD accreditation processes throughout the product lifecycle
• Conduct cyber risk assessments, threat modelling, vulnerability analysis, and mitigation activities
• Work closely with engineering teams to integrate security controls into products and systems
• Provide cyber security consultancy to internal and external stakeholders across multiple domains
• Contribute to the security assurance of operational technology, software, firmware, and hardware solutions

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering, Cyber Security, or equivalent recognised cyber security certification
• Minimum 3 years' experience within a cyber security, cyber engineering, or systems engineering environment
• Experience supporting MoD accreditation activities and Secure by Design processes (ISN 2023/09)
• Strong understanding of cyber risk management, threat modelling, and vulnerability assessment
• Knowledge of operational technology (OT) environments and standards such as IEC 62443
• Exposure to complex engineering products, software, firmware, hardware, or embedded systems

Desirable Experience

• Experience supporting defence or government programmes
