Summary: The Senior Content Strategist will be responsible for creating innovative content strategies that bridge sales, production, and marketing for a leading events and media company. This role requires a creative thinker with extensive experience in content strategy, capable of leading brainstorming sessions and collaborating with internal teams to deliver bespoke content. The position is contract-based and located in London, with an inside IR35 classification. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in media and marketing, along with excellent writing and communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Innovative Content Creation, proactively manage the daily process by generating creative, actionable, and unique content ideas.
  • Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of the client's business, sector, audience, and marketing initiatives.
  • Lead inspiring creative brainstorm sessions with key internal stakeholders, ensuring all ideas are effectively documented and communicated promptly to team members.
  • Articulate concepts clearly within engaging presentations designed to drive revenue for the company and across Financial Services, Technology, Government, Tourism, Pharmaceutical, Sustainability/Energy verticals.
  • Work closely with internal teams (Marketing, Sales, Project Managers) to ensure all proposals are on brand, feasible, and deliverable.
  • Manage and track all proposals, keeping key stakeholders informed of progress, solution delivery, and client feedback.
  • Proactively learn about new product offerings and incorporate them into client proposals when relevant.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to create innovative products, ideas, and campaign concepts for the sales team to proactively pitch.

  • Exceptional verbal and personal skills with the ability to be client-facing.
  • A Bachelor’s degree is required.

My client is a household name in events and Media. They are looking for an experienced & passionate Senior Content Strategist who will play a crucial role in bridging sales, production, and marketing to conceptualize and deliver bespoke content executions both on and off my client’s platforms.
