Summary: The Senior Content Designer role is a 6-month contract position that offers hybrid flexibility across Manchester, Bristol, or Newcastle. SENIOR CONTENT DESIGNER - 6 MONTH CONTRACT - HYBRID FLEXIBLE AT EITHER MANCHESTER/BRISTOL/NEWCASTLE - RATE £550 TO £575 PD INSIDE - VALID SC PREFERRED IF NOT LAPSED SC
The team are highly flexible with the base office site, this could be Bristol, London or Manchester. The expectation to be on site is also flexible, there are no set number of days per week as this is a hybrid role. The current team is spread out, however the successful candidate would be expected to attend an away day every quarter in person
The Government client require an experienced Senior Content Designer that is comfortable working at pace across multiple programmes, managing competing priorities while maintaining high standards for quality and accessibility.
Experience/Skills
Working on complex or technical subject areas such as cyber security, digital services or policy
Proactive individual, able to hit the ground running
Good decision-making skills and professional judgement
Effective communication skills
The successful applicant would benefit from a broad range of content experience, including guidance, digital services, news stories, blogs, policies, case studies and other communication materials. Technical writing experience will also be required
Experience using a content management system (CMS)
Word Press and/or Whitehall experience are desirable
Workload management using agile practices
Government or Public Sector experience is essential
