Summary: The Senior Consultant (Oracle SOA Suite) role involves leading technical solution design, development, and deployment for various projects. This position requires a strong focus on providing optimal technical solutions and acting as a primary contact for technical matters. The consultant will also engage in business initiatives, client training, and capability building to meet evolving client needs. The role demands extensive experience in development and solution design, particularly with Oracle technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analysing user requirements, envisioning system features and functionality.
  • Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable implementation by setting expectations and features priorities throughout development life cycle.
  • Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and recommend system solutions by comparing advantages and disadvantages of custom development.
  • Interface with customer for issue resolution, provide status updates, build customer confidence in team’s ability to deliver to support high customer satisfaction.
  • Contributing to team meetings, troubleshooting development and production problems across multiple environments and operating platforms.
  • Understand Architecture Requirements and ensure effective Design, Development, Validation and Support activities.
  • Be a key contributor in creating thought leadership within the area of technology specialization and in compliance with guidelines, policies and norms of client.

Key Skills:

  • Minimum 8 years of development, design experience with multiple industries.
  • At least 5 years of solution design, covering technical integration.
  • Experience on API Design First approach, knowledge on API Blueprint/OpenAPI specifications.
  • Hands on experience in Oracle SOA Suite (BPEL, OSB, Mediator, Business Rules), Oracle BPM Suite, and ORDS, PL/SQL.
  • Following best practices while implementation and giving confidence to the customer with quality deliverables.
  • Performing code review activities.
  • Proposing new solutions through PoCs.
  • Experience on any API management platform.
  • Experience and knowledge on REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, XSD.
  • Knowledge on DevOps methodologies and tooling - Monitoring/ELK, APM, collaboration, ALM, dashboard etc.
  • Knowledge on WebLogic Application Server.
  • Implementing security through OAuth2, OWSM, SSO.
  • Sound knowledge of various operating systems and Oracle database.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate with remote teams effectively.
  • Strong analytical, logical skills and team leading skills.
  • Good understanding of project domain.
  • Ability to translate functional/non-functional requirements to systems requirements.
  • Ability to design and code complex programs.

Your role

In the role of a Senior Consultant, you will lead the technical track, technical solution design, development and deployment. Your primary role would be to provide best fit technical solutions for one or more projects, A single point of contact for end-to-end Technical, work closely with individual information systems Leads to ensure appropriate steps are taken to evolve and change each system. You will be pivotal to problem definition and discovery of the overall technical solution. You will anchor business pursuit initiatives, client training, in-house capability building. You will have the opportunity to shape value-adding Technology solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.
