Summary: Seeking an experienced Senior Construction Project Manager to lead a high-profile built environment project in London. The role demands strong technical, scheduling, and financial management skills to oversee contractor delivery teams and act as the primary liaison with senior stakeholders. The position is contract-based for over six months and requires a presence on-site two days a week. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in project management within the construction sector.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead construction delivery, managing contractors on schedule and budget
- Identify and mitigate risks (permits, budget, timelines)
- Serve as main point of contact between owner/developer and design teams
- Coordinate internal and external stakeholders, including Client
- Provide regular progress reporting to senior leadership
- Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget
- Manage project closure and capture lessons learned
Key Skills:
- Proven technical construction and methodology expertise
- Financial management experience
- Knowledge of contracts (JCT/NEC)
- Detailed scheduling skills (Primavera, MS Project)
- Expert knowledge of Health & Safety regulations in construction
