Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for concept development and problem resolution with both vehicle and Accessory teams, using virtual engineering tools.
- Deliver Accessory programme geometry as required.
- Provide support and mentoring to Computer Aided Design Engineers and non-Computer Aided Designer Engineers in defining the information required to produce robust models and system/sub-system solutions.
- Undertake any other work as directed by their line manager in connection with their job as may be requested.
Key Skills:
- Strong IT skills with significant experience of using virtual engineering tools (Dassault 3D Experience).
- Technical and practical knowledge of Body Engineering commodities, BIW, Exterior trim, Interior trim, etc.
- Previous programme delivery experience, with strong influencing and engagement skills.
- Relevant degree or equivalent experience preferred.
- Experience of concept generation and cross-functionality problem resolution.
- Detailed knowledge and understanding of specific car components, or systems and sub-systems.
- Strong project management skills.

Senior CAD Engineer
This role will develop new technologies and the system integration across the business, with input into the geometry of the vehicle accessory programmes. The role will involve utilising virtual engineering tools to lead the concept development and problem resolution with cross-functional teams for the Accessories Engineering team.
