Summary: The Senior Community & Partnerships Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping tombola's community engagement strategy, focusing on building meaningful connections with players through PR, social media, events, and partnerships. Key Responsibilities:
- Define and lead community engagement strategy in collaboration with the Head of Brand.
- Identify and activate key strategic pillars using PR, Events, Social, and Partnerships.
- Lead the integration of relevant local and national partnerships.
- Work cross-functionally with Product, Customer Experience, and Internal Comms.
- Oversee social strategy and brand ambassador programme.
- Curate and grow online community while amplifying campaign messaging.
- Develop and implement PR and experiential strategy alongside agency partners.
- Deliver unique campaigns, in-market events, sponsorships, and community programmes.
- Own community-related KPIs, including brand health, engagement, reach, and trust metrics.
- Partner with acquisition teams to identify untapped audiences.
Key Skills:
- 7+ years’ experience in PR, Social or Community roles, ideally within a consumer brand.
- Proven success in curating online communities and running high-impact events.
- Cross-functional experience working with Product, CX, and other marketing channels.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to lead through complexity.
- Experience managing agencies and inspiring creative execution across channels.

The Team
You’ll be joining our Marketing & Commercial function at an exciting time as we expand how tombola shows up for our players. The brand team is responsible for shaping how we connect with our audience, and this new role sits at the heart of that ambition. You’ll be working alongside Social, Creative, Acquisition, Product and Internal Comms teams, and you’ll lead the charge on building our community strategy from the ground up.
The Role
This is a brand-new role with huge potential to shape how tombola engages with its players and prospects. As Senior Community & Partnerships Manager, you’ll be responsible for defining and delivering our community strategy — creating memorable, meaningful moments for our players both online and offline. Your remit spans PR, Social, Events, and Partnerships. Whether it’s a local initiative in one of our heartland communities or an innovative brand activation, you’ll lead our efforts to bring our purpose — being moment makers — to life. You’ll act as the strategic lead on community engagement, partnership development and ambassador oversight, ensuring we’re building genuine connections with our player base and showing up in ways that matter.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategy & Planning
- Define and lead our community engagement strategy in collaboration with the Head of Brand
- Identify and activate key strategic pillars using PR, Events, Social, and Partnerships
- Lead the integration of relevant local and national partnerships — from charity collaborations to commercial opportunities
- Work cross-functionally with Product, Customer Experience, and Internal Comms to embed community-first thinking into our product and player experiences
- Social & Ambassador Oversight
- Oversee our social strategy and brand ambassador programme, ensuring both support our community vision
- Work with internal teams and agencies to curate and grow our online community, while amplifying campaign messaging
- PR & Experiential Activation
- Develop and implement our PR and experiential strategy alongside agency partners
- Deliver unique campaigns, in-market events, sponsorships and community programmes that drive brand engagement and trust
- Impact & Measurement
- Own community-related KPIs, including brand health, engagement, reach and trust metrics
- Partner with acquisition teams to identify untapped audiences and support player growth through innovative, community-led campaigns
What We’re Looking For
