Summary: The Senior Commercial Finance Analyst role at MBNL involves supporting the Commercial Finance Manager and Head of Commercial Finance in achieving financial targets through effective business partnering and financial management. Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as finance subject matter expert and business partner.
  • Produce 5-year plans, quarterly business plans, and necessary analysis for shareholders.
  • Understand and address the needs of shareholders regarding finance queries.
  • Own month-end processes, including journal preparation and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Collaborate with Financial Accounting Team for month-end results and reporting.
  • Influence senior stakeholders to meet financial targets and maintain accuracy.
  • Simplify complex financial concepts for better understanding.
  • Ensure financial rigor in achieving Capex and Opex targets.
  • Enhance existing processes for improved efficiency.
  • Maintain finance control environment and implement improvement plans.
  • Manage Opex and Capex effectively.
  • Identify and drive cost-saving opportunities to meet corporate financial targets.
  • Work with contract managers for effective financial management of contracts.
  • Provide advisory support to business teams, shareholders, and suppliers.
  • Produce financial analysis and modeling for commercial deals.
  • Establish strong relationships with shareholders and vendor teams.
  • Support budget management and provide ad-hoc assistance to senior finance leaders.

Key Skills:

  • Qualified ACA/CIMA/ACCA accountant or similar with at least 2 years post-qualified experience.
