Senior Cloud Platform Engineer, ideally with current SC Security Clearance, is needed to work with our central government client within their cloud workstream to deliver cloud services and capabilities aligned to the authorities 3-year Digital, Technology, and Cyber Security Strategies.
You’ll work across Azure infrastructure, cloud migration, DevSecOps and platform engineering, helping to build landing zones, deploy and optimise cloud services, develop CI/CD pipelines and implement Infrastructure as Code.
Essential Experience
- Proven experience in Build and Migration of Applications and Services to Public Cloud Platforms, Operation and Deployment of DevSecOps tooling and development of infrastructure as code using Terraform or Bicep.
- Deep understanding of Cloud Security principles and Zero Trust Architectures.
- Deep technical knowledge of Microsoft Azure, Building Cloud Platforms, Migrating Applications to Cloud Platforms.
- Agile Delivery using standard DevSecOps toolchains
- Knowledge of NCSC, GDS, and UK government security frameworks, including Secure by Design, Cloud Security Principles, Government Functional Standards, and the Technology Code of Practice.
- Working in Secure Environments
- Experience of designing, building and maintaining Azure cloud platforms and landing zones
- Experience of enabling cloud support readiness, application discovery and migration assessments
- Ability to Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and IaC
- Skills to configure Azure networking, security, monitoring, identity and backup services whilst supporting migration of legacy applications into cloud environments.

- Microsoft Azure Solution Architect Expert (AZ-305)
- Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ-400)
- Knowledge of Amazon Web Services
Hybrid working with 3 days per week on site in Milton Keynes
