Key Responsibilities:
- Design and operate AWS infrastructure including EKS, networking and storage
- Build infrastructure using Terraform with a focus on best practices and reusability
- Manage cloud accounts and IAM policies with a security-first approach
- Develop and maintain GitLab CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure delivery
- Support the packaging, release and deployment of infrastructure components
- Implement monitoring, logging and alerting using tools such as Prometheus, Grafana and CloudWatch
- Collaborate with software engineers to enhance deployment and operational workflows
- Diagnose and resolve issues across containerised and cloud environments

We’re currently supporting our client in the search for a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join their Platform Team on a contract basis. This is a hands-on position focused on building and operating secure, scalable and observable cloud infrastructure to support a next-generation financial market infrastructure platform.
The Role
You will be responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining robust AWS-based infrastructure environments, with a strong focus on automation, security and reliability. This includes supporting CI/CD processes, infrastructure as code, and observability tooling across multiple environments.
