Job Title: Senior Systems Technician – Platforms & Cloud
Department: Platforms & Cloud / Technology Services
Purpose: To support the operation, enhancement, and delivery of cloud and platform technologies underpinning Health and Care Jersey services, ensuring robust performance, security, and continuity.
Person Specification
- 1. Qualifications
- Essential: Relevant Microsoft/Azure technical qualifications or demonstrable equivalent experience.
- Desirable: Advanced Microsoft Azure certification.
- 2. Knowledge
- Essential: Strong knowledge of Azure, Windows Server, and hybrid cloud architectures.
- Desirable: Knowledge of healthcare digital platforms.
- 3. Technical & Work-Based Skills
- Essential: Azure administration and engineering, infrastructure automation, monitoring, Microsoft 365, and platform support.
- Desirable: Infrastructure-as-Code and cloud migration experience.
- 4. General Skills & Attributes
- Essential: Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and collaborative working skills.
- Desirable: Experience supporting transformation programmes.
- 5. Experience
- Essential: Significant experience supporting enterprise cloud and platform environments.
- Desirable: Healthcare or public sector experience.
