What does a cloud architect contractor do?
Cloud Architect contractors design the technical blueprint for how organisations use cloud platforms. The role is strategic rather than hands-on: you define landing zone designs, network topologies, identity and access management frameworks, disaster recovery strategies, and the governance models that ensure cloud environments remain secure, compliant, and cost-effective as they scale. Clients hire cloud architect contractors when they are planning a migration, redesigning their cloud estate after an initial adoption that has become unwieldy, or establishing a multi-cloud strategy.
