Senior Civil Technician / 6 months contract / £50ph / Hybrid (London office 2-3 days per week)

Summary: This role is for a Senior Civil Technician with expertise in Civil 3D, responsible for leading civil design delivery for various land development and infrastructure projects. The position involves close collaboration with engineers and project managers to ensure high-quality and compliant designs. The technician will oversee the production of detailed designs, manage 3D models, and ensure timely delivery of documentation. This is a 6-month contract based in a hybrid working arrangement in London.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the production of detailed civil engineering designs and drawings using Autodesk Civil 3D, including site development, roads, drainage, stormwater, and utility infrastructure.
• Develop and manage 3D models, grading, earthworks, and volume calculations while ensuring constructability and compliance with standards.
• Coordinate with engineers and project teams to deliver accurate plans, profiles, sections, and construction documentation on time and within budget.
• Oversee QA/QC for civil designs, manage drawing files and revisions, and mentor junior technicians.

Key Skills:

• Strong expertise in Autodesk Civil 3D.
• Experience in civil engineering design and delivery.
• Ability to manage 3D models and perform grading and volume calculations.
• Strong coordination and communication skills with project teams.
• Experience in QA/QC processes for civil designs.

Salary (Rate): £50 hourly
