Summary: The Senior Civil Engineer (Water) role involves leading the design and technical aspects of clean water, wastewater, and flood risk management projects for a major consultancy. The position requires collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and mentoring junior staff while delivering sustainable solutions. This is a contract position for 6 months, extendable to 12 months, with flexible hybrid working arrangements. Candidates must be degree-qualified and Chartered Civil Engineers with over 10 years of relevant experience.
Key Responsibilities:

We’re working with a major consultancy seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to support the delivery of clean water, wastewater, and flood risk management projects across the UK. The role focuses on design and technical leadership within long-term frameworks for major water utilities and public sector clients. You’ll be responsible for guiding civil engineering design, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, mentoring junior staff, and helping to deliver sustainable, high-impact solutions.
Requirements:
- Degree-qualified and Chartered Civil Engineer
