Key Responsibilities:

• Produce detailed civil/structural engineering design packages compliant with client and national technical standards.
• Lead various civil project designs including site design, land development, and utility design.
• Undertake technical quality assurance reviews and provide design approval/sign-off.
• Plan and lead project and client meetings, acting as Principal Designer representative.

Key Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with Chartership.
• Relevant Health & Safety qualification (e.g. IOSH Managing Safely, NEBOSH Cert./Dip., NVQ).
• 7 years of civil and structural engineering design experience, with at least 5 years in the electricity transmission & distribution sector.
• Advanced knowledge in civil and structural engineering design, calculations, and systems.
• Thorough understanding of current Construction (Design & Management) regulations.
• Experience in a lead civil/structural engineering design role on National Grid Electricity Transmission projects.
