Summary: The Senior CAD / BIM Designer role involves producing high-quality 2D drawings and 3D models for significant civil engineering projects within a leading contractor. The designer will focus on highways, structures, and water sector designs while adhering to BIM Level 2 requirements. Key Responsibilities:

• Produce and manage detailed 3D models and 2D drawings for large-scale civil engineering projects.
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and stakeholders to align designs with project objectives.
• Support the development of bridges, tunnels, highways, drainage systems, and water treatment facilities.
• Ensure compliance with BIM Level 2 / ISO 19650 requirements and contribute to federated models and clash detection.
• Assist in the development of automation, parametric design, and digital workflows.
• Maintain adherence to industry best practices and ensure designs are efficient and compliant with regulations.

Key Skills:

• Extensive experience in civil infrastructure, particularly in CAD / BIM design.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, Navisworks, InfraWorks, and other BIM-related software.
• Strong understanding of BIM & Digital Engineering, including model coordination and clash detection.
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
• Collaborative and proactive approach to working within multidisciplinary teams.
• Experience in a civil engineering design consultancy or main contractor environment.
