Summary: Join a leading investment banking institution as a Senior/Lead C# .NET Developer, where you will be responsible for developing and maintaining applications that drive business success. This role requires a strong background in C# and .NET development, with a focus on collaboration and innovation. The position is based in Canary Wharf, requiring three days a week onsite presence, and offers a contract duration of up to two years.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designing and implementing robust, scalable applications using C# and .NET frameworks.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Troubleshooting, debugging, and optimising existing applications to enhance performance.
  • Participating in code reviews to maintain high coding standards and share knowledge with the team.
  • Staying updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to keep projects innovative.

Key Skills:

  • Long and proven career within C# and .NET development.
  • Very strong experience of object-oriented programming principles.
  • Proficient with databases (SQL Server, Oracle) and web services (RESTful APIs).
  • Proven WinForms/WPF experience.
  • Experience supporting the setup of a system distribution method for Citrix and application servers for both web and Windows applications.
  • A proactive attitude and the ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Experience working for a banking or financial services organisation or in large corporate and complex environments.

Salary (Rate): £600.00 daily
