Summary: This role is for a Senior Non-Food Buyer on a fixed-term contract, responsible for managing a key product category and driving new product development (NPD). The position involves collaboration with various teams to enhance product ranges, conducting sales analysis, and defining pricing strategies. The ideal candidate will have experience in homeware categories and will enjoy a creative and autonomous work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a key category in driving NPD and creating a compelling product range.
- Work closely with the Merchandising, Design, and Quality teams to improve current ranges.
- Oversee day-to-day range development, including sample development and selection.
- Complete sales analysis using market and customer insight data to inform buying decisions.
- Sourcing, developing, and growing the product range.
- Define the pricing and promotional strategy for the category.
- Achieve commercial results in line with category targets, maximizing revenue and margin.
- Complete UK and EU travel for trade shows, comp shopping, and supplier visits.
- Liaise with the e-commerce team on content and photography.
