Key Responsibilities:

• Delivers commercial value by optimizing the supplier base and standardizing contractual terms.
• Identifies opportunities to unlock value and reduce costs through collaboration with suppliers.
• Uses market intelligence to forecast price and market trends for effective negotiations.
• Owns annual targets for productivity improvements and reductions in cost of goods sold (COGs).
• Sources goods and services sustainably and ethically, minimizing environmental impact.
• Builds supply chain resilience by identifying and mitigating risks.
• Manages supplier relationships and measures supplier performance, ensuring compliance.
• Ensures timely delivery of procurement actions and project outcomes.

Key Skills:

• Experience in ingredients buying within the food industry.
• Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply (CIPS) or similar qualification.
• Experience in multi-national, commercial organizations of scale.
• Preferred experience in FMCG and Food Manufacturing sectors.
• Extensive procurement function experience within a matrix organization.
• Proven negotiation skills and strong supplier relationship management.
• Experience in multi-function, multi-geography, and multi-category projects.
• Excellent communication and analytical skills.
