Key Responsibilities:
- Accountable for assuring programme schedule and budget commitments through supplier management.
- Conduct supplier sourcing and RFQ/RFP/RFI activities to support programme demand.
- Negotiate contracts and implement agreements with appropriate customer flow-downs.
- Engage business stakeholder teams to understand supply chain requirements.
- Maintain ERP system and process purchase documentation.
- Manage supplier relationships, performance monitoring, and engagement.
- Monitor and manage supply issues, providing status updates and reports.
- Bring Supply Chain & Procurement best practices into an engineering environment.

Opportunity:
This is more than just a job; it’s a mission. As a Supply Chain Specialist, you will be responsible for delivery of a sustainable supply chain to support business needs. Working within the defined processes and procedure, you will protect the commercial and financial interests of the company whilst ensuring that customer needs are met. This role will include tactical activities through optimisation of spend and collaboration with 3rd parties to assure deliveries and operational delivery such as demand forecasting, PO management, materials sourcing, expediting and inventory management.

Responsibilities:
- Accountable for assuring programme schedule and budget commitments through supplier management including;
- Working in accordance with NG policies, procedures and values, challenging and improving where needed
- Supplier Sourcing
- Carrying out RFQ/RFP/RFI (RFx) activities to support programme demand including;
- Understanding and challenging Statements of Requirements and Statements of Work
- Issuing RFx
- Receiving, interpreting and summarising responses
- Negotiation Schedule to needs and preferential terms and conditions
- Implementation of Contract agreements with appropriate customer flow-downs
- Engage business stakeholder teams to understand supply chain requirements, and assure delivery of supplier performance
- Maintaining ERP system
- Process and amend purchase documentation to keep current and accurate
- Supplier Relationship Management including;
- Supplier assessment
- Performance monitoring
- Appropriate engagement from suppliers/ programmes
- Working with senior supply chain team members as required to ensure supplier delivery into Programmes of the right quality, timing and price
- Monitor and manage supply issues, providing status updates and reports as requested
- Bringing Supply Chain & Procurement best practice into an engineering environment
