Summary: The Senior Business Architect - ORMB role involves shaping and championing the architectural vision for key Billing domains within a hybrid working environment in Central London. The position requires extensive experience in leading Billing architecture and transformations, with a focus on Oracle Revenue Management and Billing (ORMB). Key Responsibilities:
- Shape and champion the architectural vision for key Billing domains (contract setup, rating, invoicing, revenue flows).
- Lead the creation of L2–L3 processes, capability models, and logical data architectures for the Billing blueprint.
- Provide strategic direction on localisation, release planning, and dependency management.
- Partner closely with Engineering, Finance, Operations, and Business Architecture leadership to maintain design integrity.
- Lead design forums and provide evidence-based recommendations for decision-making.
- Oversee cross-domain impact assessments and manage process, capability, and data implications.
- Provide architectural leadership for M&A activities to support seamless integration.
- Work with senior SMEs and leaders to clarify requirements and eliminate design ambiguity.
- Promote high-quality visual design artefacts for executive communication.
- Champion the adoption of architectural standards and Billing principles across programme teams.
Key Skills:
- Extensive knowledge of Oracle Revenue Management and Billing (ORMB).
- Experience leading Billing architecture or major Billing transformations in complex environments.
- Deep knowledge of subscription and transactional billing models.
- Strong expertise in CRM–Billing integrations and Finance systems.

- Lead the creation of L2–L3 processes, capability models and logical data architectures that together form the end to end Billing blueprint.
- Provide strategic direction on localisation, release planning and dependency management to ensure pragmatic, efficient delivery.
Design Alignment & Collaboration
- Partner closely with Engineering, Finance, Operations, Business Architecture leadership and dependant programmes to maintain design integrity across the roadmap.
- Lead design forums with confidence, bringing clear analysis and evidence based recommendations to guide decisions.
- Ensure that functional and technical designs consistently reflect the full Lead to Cash vision.
Impact Assessment & Change Support
- Oversee cross domain impact assessments, ensuring that process, capability and data implications are well understood, managed, and governed.
- Provide architectural leadership for M&A activities, ensuring our Billing blueprint and data model support seamless, scalable integration for both organic and inorganic growth.
Cross Functional Functional Engagement
- Work with senior SMEs and leaders across Billing, Finance and Engineering to drive clarity in requirements and eliminate design ambiguity.
- Promote the creation of high quality visual design artefacts that support executive level communication and decision making.
- Champion the adoption of architectural standards and Billing principles across all programme teams to ensure consistency and discipline.
