Senior Business Architect

Summary: The Senior Business Architect role involves leading the development of a new business architecture capability within a major greenfield transformation programme for a leading manufacturing company. The position requires collaboration with the Chief Architect and various stakeholders to define and implement strategic business architecture aligned with enterprise goals. This role is pivotal in driving change and optimizing business processes, particularly in the CRM domain. The contract is for an initial 12 months with hybrid working arrangements in Greater London.

Key Responsibilities:

• Define, design, and evolve the target business architecture aligned to enterprise strategy.
• Lead capability modelling, value stream mapping, and business process design.
• Use BPMN to map and optimise end-to-end processes, particularly within the CRM domain.
• Partner with IT, product, and business stakeholders to drive alignment and clarity across initiatives.
• Bring a pragmatic, delivery-focused mindset to ensure outcomes are actionable and valuable.

Key Skills:

• Proven experience as a Senior Business Architect, ideally within enterprise-scale change programmes.
• Expertise in CRM business processes and customer engagement models – essential.
• Strong knowledge of business process modelling, including hands-on experience with BPMN.
• Confident working in greenfield or ambiguous environments, with a practical approach to architecture.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management at senior levels.
• Automotive industry experience is desirable but not essential.
• Familiarity with tools like LeanIX and Signavio – nice to have.
