Key Responsibilities
- Analyse and document business processes, workflows, systems, and requirements (functional & non-functional requirement artefacts, data catalogues, flow diagrams as needed)
- Perform data analysis and interpretation to identify insights
- Manage, collaborate, and communicate with internal and external stakeholders
- Contribute to project management and roadmap activities
- Identify opportunities to improve customer experience, sales performance, inventory optimisation, and operational efficiency through analytics and technology
- Influence strategic decisions through business process analysis, stakeholder management, and data-driven insights
- Present findings, recommendations, and solutions to stakeholders
- Collaborate with data modellers and data governance teams - understanding data mapping and data classification
What You Will Ideally Bring
- Extensive experience gathering, analysing, and documenting business requirements
- Ability to translate business needs into functional and data-driven solutions
- Experience working with data platforms, data products, reporting, and analytics solutions
- Exposure to cloud-based data platforms and modern analytics ecosystems
- Understanding of AI, GenAI, automation, and digital transformation initiatives
- Strong experience with Agile methodologies, sprint planning, backlog management, and user story creation
- Working knowledge of Jira, Confluence, Azure DevOps, or similar delivery tools
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills across business and technology teams
- Understanding of retail business processes, including customer journeys, merchandising, supply chain, eCommerce, inventory management, and store operations
- Ability to use data insights to drive business decisions and measure value realisation
- Experience in large-scale retail transformation programmes (desirable)
- Knowledge of AI/GenAI-enabled business processes (desirable)
- Experience delivering customer, digital, data, or analytics products (desirable)
