Senior Business Analyst/Product Owner - Banking Domain - Collateral Management

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst/Product Owner with strong Banking/Financial Services/Capital Markets experience and deep expertise in Agency Lending/Securities Borrowing & Lending (SBL) Collateral Management.

You will work across Operations, Technology, Risk, Front Office, Product and Trading, delivering process improvements and technology solutions across the collateral management life cycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own initiatives, managing scope, timelines, dependencies, risks and issues.
  • Provide Business Analysis and Product Ownership across SBL Collateral Management.
  • Work across tri-party, bilateral non-cash and cash collateral, including reinvestment and collateral allocation across multiple asset classes.
  • Analyse and map end-to-end processes to reduce manual activity, remove bottlenecks and strengthen controls.
  • Gather, analyse and document business requirements and translate business problems into practical solutions.
  • Partner with Technology, Operations, Risk, Front Office, Product and Trading stakeholders.
  • Define and track KPIs/KRIs, benefits and delivery outcomes.
  • Manage project plans, milestones and cross-workstream dependencies.
  • Identify and resolve risks and issues.
  • Oversee UAT and support successful technology releases.
  • Communicate progress, risks and status to senior stakeholders.

Essential Experience

  • 10+ years' experience within Banking, Financial Services, Asset Services or Capital Markets.
  • Strong experience as a Business Analyst, Product Owner or Programme/Project Manager.
  • Deep experience in Agency Lending/Securities Borrowing & Lending (SBL) Collateral Management.
  • Experience across tri-party, bilateral non-cash and cash collateral.
  • Strong understanding of collateral allocation, reinvestment and multiple asset classes.
  • Knowledge of institutional markets, asset classes and investment products.
  • Strong risk management, controls and controls design experience.
  • Proven requirements gathering, process mapping and analysis experience, including tools such as Draw.io.
  • Experience managing UAT, project plans, milestones, risks and dependencies.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a complex, fast-paced environment.

Desirable

  • CSPO/PSPO, PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum, Six Sigma, Lean or Change Management certification.
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Technology or equivalent.
