Summary: The Senior Business Analyst role focuses on bridging the gap between analysis and architecture, ensuring that synergy opportunities are evidence-based and aligned with cost-saving goals. The position requires engaging stakeholders to document business and technical requirements while providing traceability from requirements to value realization. The analyst will also mentor junior analysts and collaborate with cross-functional teams and senior leadership. The role is based in Manchester with a hybrid working arrangement, requiring on-site presence 1-2 days a week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensures synergy opportunities are evidence based
- Ensures synergy opportunities are thoroughly assessed and prioritised
- Aligns process design with cost saving goals
- Provides traceability from requirements to value realisation
- Experienced analyst, technical in nature able to bridge the gap between analysis and architecture
- An in-depth understanding of modern systems architecture and applications
- Experienced in engaging stakeholders to elicit and document business & technical requirements
- Proficient in using data tools to extract and interpret data for insights
- Skilled at producing clear requirements, reports, and recommendations
- A good understanding of methodologies, Agile, Waterfall and Hybrid
- Previous experience of Systems Integration
- Systems Rationalisation, with problem solving abilities
- Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate and present across cross functional teams and senior leadership
- Experience of mentoring Junior Analysts
