Summary: The Senior Business Analyst role involves interpreting stakeholder requirements and conducting detailed data analysis to facilitate communication across delivery teams. Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyse, and document business requirements with clarity and accuracy.
  • Analyse complex data sets to derive actionable insights, identify trends, and support informed decision-making.
  • Identify inefficiencies in workflows or systems and propose improvements to optimise business processes.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation including requirements, workflows, functional specifications, and outcomes.
  • Generate reports and artefacts to communicate findings effectively to varied audiences.
  • Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure shared understanding of objectives.
  • Translate business needs into functional specifications or user stories to guide system or software development.
  • Collaborate with QA and UAT teams to validate solutions and ensure they meet defined business requirements.
  • Review test strategies, test scenarios, and test cases to ensure adequate coverage and quality.
  • Monitor implemented solutions, gather feedback, and recommend enhancements to support evolving business needs.

Key Skills:

  • 6 to 9 years of overall experience, with a minimum of 3 years working as a Business Analyst.
  • Strong analytical capability to interpret complex data sets, identify patterns, and generate meaningful insights.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience producing high-quality documentation.
  • Strong understanding of business processes, workflows, and industry best practices.
  • Proven experience eliciting and documenting detailed business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories.
  • Familiarity with software development methodologies including Agile and Waterfall.
  • Experience working with business analysis and collaboration tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to balance diverse expectations.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and project scopes while maintaining delivery focus.
  • Agile E2 certification is desirable.
