Summary: The Senior Risk & Integration Business Analyst role is a pivotal position within a leading financial institution, focusing on the Derivatives Integration Programme. The successful candidate will lead multiple workstreams in the Risk Management Department, collaborating with various stakeholders to enhance risk management processes. This hybrid role requires strong analytical skills and experience in investment banking, particularly in change programmes. Key Responsibilities:
- Document as-is and to-be processes with input from business stakeholders and SMEs.
- Create detailed Business Requirements and Requirements Traceability Matrices.
- Recommend process efficiencies and alignment opportunities based on thorough analysis.
- Communicate proposed Target State across stakeholders, ensuring agreement and sign-off.
- Work closely with IT on necessary system changes for successful implementation.
- Support QA and UAT testing, resolving issues and defects as they arise.
Key Skills:
- Degree educated; a Business Analysis qualification is desirable.
- Proficient in Visio and MS products.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to manage multiple deliverables under pressure.
- Experience with integration projects would be a bonus.
- Extensive experience in Change programmes, ideally within Investment Banking.
- Solid understanding of Target Operating Models, Business Process Mapping, and Regulatory Change.
- Good knowledge of derivatives products and front-to-back processes in investment banking.

Our client, one of the largest financial institutions headquartered in Japan, is seeking a dynamic Senior Risk & Integration Business Analyst to drive their Derivatives Integration Programme. What You'll Do: Lead multiple workstreams focusing on the full project lifecycle in the Risk Management Department. analyse current processes and outputs across various Risk entities, including Market Risk, Credit Risk, and more. Define the To Be Operating Model and document detailed business requirements for IT design and implementation. Collaborate with key stakeholders across Risk Business Areas, Compliance, IT, Operations, and Finance to achieve project deliverables. Act as a bridge between business and IT, ensuring smooth communication and understanding.

You’re proficient in Business Analysis and Project Management tools, with experience in producing comprehensive documentation. You have a good knowledge of derivatives products and front-to-back processes in investment banking.
