Summary: FDM is seeking a Senior Business Analyst with over 10 years of experience to join their Corporate Banking transformation team on a hybrid basis in Knutsford. The role focuses on driving strategic change and regulatory compliance within the finance sector, requiring collaboration with various stakeholders to analyze processes and define actionable solutions. This position is initially a 12-month contract with potential for extension. The ideal candidate will have deep domain expertise in corporate banking products and a strong background in large-scale transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead requirements-gathering workshops and stakeholder interviews across business units and technical teams
  • Analyse and document end-to-end business processes, workflows, and system interactions in areas such as cash management, payments, trade finance, lending, and treasury
  • Translate business needs into detailed functional and non-functional requirements, user stories, use cases, and business rules
  • Conduct gap analyses, impact assessments, and feasibility studies to support project scoping and strategic decisions
  • Partner with project managers, solution architects, developers, and QA teams to ensure shared understanding and delivery of high-quality solutions
  • Contribute to solution design, testing strategy, and implementation planning
  • Maintain robust documentation and ensure traceability across the project lifecycle

Key Skills:

  • 10+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a strong background in banking
  • Deep domain expertise in corporate banking products and services: cash management, lending, treasury, trade finance, and payments
  • Demonstrated experience in large-scale banking transformation, regulatory, or digital modernization initiatives
  • Ability to analyse complex systems and business processes, and articulate clear and actionable requirements
  • Solid understanding of the regulatory environment and compliance requirements within corporate banking
  • Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management skills, including experience engaging with senior executives
  • Proficiency with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Visio, Excel, and BPMN modeling tools

FDM is a global business and technology consultancy seeking a Senior Business Analyst to work for our client within the finance sector. This is initially a 12-month contract with the potential to extend and will be a hybrid role based in Knutsford. Our client is seeking a Senior Business Analyst with at least 10 years’ experience their Corporate Banking transformation team. This critical role focuses on driving strategic change, regulatory compliance, and product innovation across our corporate banking services. You’ll collaborate with stakeholders from across the organisation—business, operations, compliance, and technology—to analyse complex processes, identify gaps, and define smart, actionable solutions that support both transformation and innovation.
