Overview of the Senior Business Analyst: This is an exciting opportunity to support in the delivery of a key transformation project. The purpose of the Business Analyst is to support the Payments Transformation Project, working with key stakeholders across the business, you will review and improve existing payment processes, ensuring they are remodelled to comply with regulations, and addressing any risks associated with current processes. This Business Analyst position will be crucial in aligning the product offering with business needs and regulatory requirements. The Senior Business Analyst will act as a bridge between the product team, technical teams, and business stakeholders, ensuring the developed solutions consider stakeholder needs and solve business problems. Through intensive engagement with business stakeholders, the Business Analyst will be required to gather and document requirements, map processes and journeys, translate them into actionable user stories, and refine them in conjunction with technical teams. The Business Analyst will be required to work with key stakeholders to document the 'as-is processes, identifying issues and areas for improvement. You will also work with each workstream to develop solutions to both current and future challenges, ensuring solutions move the business to a best-in-class payments provider. The successful candidate will be required to present their findings to the Executive Team and Senior Leadership Team on a regular basis. The Project Thepurpose of this role is to support the Payments Transformation Project by reviewing and enhancing existing payment processes, with a focus on core offering of cashback and the disbursement of funds to customers on behalf of our clients via bank transfer and prepaid card. The Payments Transformation Project is a comprehensive initiative to evaluate and redesign all payment processes across the business, including billing, invoicing, customer payments, and receiving payments from clients. With a focus on compliance and the efficient fulfilment of global cashback rewards The project aims to position our clients cashback product offering as "best in class" in the industry. By minimising risk, maximising automation, and enhancing our product offering, this transformation project will deliver a robust, efficient, and innovative payment framework to support growth and reinforce our competitive advantage. Ideal Background Needed (What's in your DNA)? Proven track record of operating in a Senior Business Analyst capacity Knowledge of operational payment processes would be extremely advantageous Demonstrated experience creating detailed cost benefits analysis as part of a business case process. Experience in the documentation of requirements and mapping specifications Problem-solving skills and proactive attitude to identify and propose improvements and new ways of doing things. Analytical skills and focus on detail to bring the right level of rigour, analysis and data-enabled decisions. Strong interpersonal skills with experience in effectively communicating with and managing expectations of both technical and non-technical stakeholders
