Your new role As a Senior Business Analyst, you will engage with stakeholders throughout the organisation to understand business operations and identify opportunities for improvement. Your main duties will include analysing and understanding business problems or opportunities, undertaking research and analysis to understand how a business or business area works, considering the people, organisation, processes, information, data, and technology. You will identify areas for improvement, explore feasible options, analyse the effects of change, and define success measures. You will make decisions related to prioritisation and minimum viable product by using analysis-led insights, ensure new products and services meet business and user needs, and are aligned with organisational goals.

What you'll need to succeed To be successful in this role, you will need the following knowledge and skills: Agile working: Ability to identify and compare the best processes or delivery methods to use, including measuring and evaluating outcomes. Business analysis: Capability to recommend the approach to options analysis, feasibility assessment, and operations, and quantify potential business benefits. Business modelling: Experience in leading the modelling of processes, systems, and data at varying levels of detail or complexity across a project or programme. Business process improvement: Skill in identifying opportunities to improve business performance within a project or programme. Business process testing: Expertise in supporting the design, execution, and assessment of business process tests and usability evaluations. Requirements definition and management: Proficiency in advising on the approach to requirements management within a project or programme. Stakeholder relationship management: Experience in communicating with stakeholders, clarifying needs and commitments through consultation and consideration of consequences. Systems analysis: Skill in identifying and analysing IT system capabilities, developing models and system requirements. Testing: Ability to recommend the value of testing and apply relevant tools and techniques to ensure test validity. User experience analysis: Expertise in analysing, prioritising, and validating user experience needs. Knowledge of writing business cases, process analysis, and documenting requirements. Relationship management: Excellent skills in managing relationships across technical and business streams. Collaborative environment: Experience working in a multidisciplinary agile team, delivering iterative design components.
