Summary: The Senior Business Analyst (Data Architecture) role is focused on supporting the discovery phase of a data and reporting transformation programme. The position involves analyzing current reporting landscapes, identifying business requirements, and defining future-state data solutions. The role requires collaboration with both business and technical stakeholders to ensure effective documentation and governance. This is a short-term contract based in London with hybrid working arrangements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse and document existing data flows, reporting processes, and system dependencies
- Work closely with business and technical stakeholders to gather and define requirements
- Review data mappings and reporting logic across multiple platforms
- Identify risks, gaps, and opportunities for improved governance and reporting
- Produce clear documentation, process maps, and functional specifications
- Support the definition of a target-state architecture and delivery roadmap
Key Skills:
- Proven Business Analysis experience within data, BI, or reporting programmes
- Strong understanding of data architecture, data flows, and reporting environments
- Experience working with SQL databases and cloud-based data platforms
- Familiarity with Python, Airflow, Tableau, and Power BI environments
- Excellent stakeholder management and requirements gathering skills
- Ability to work across both technical and non-technical teams
- Experience within digital media, advertising, or data-driven commercial environments is advantageous
