Summary: The Senior Business Analyst for the Cyber Security Programme will be instrumental in driving transformational change by managing business analysis activities and delivering both technical and business initiatives. This role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams and the ability to lead workshops for requirements gathering. The successful candidate will also support and coach other analysts while ensuring alignment with project goals. A strong background in Cyber Security and proven experience in business analysis is essential for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead business analysis activities across one or more workstreams within the Cyber Security Programme.
- Manage projects from discovery and requirements gathering through to successful implementation.
- Take ownership of analysis deliverables, ensuring alignment with project goals.
- Support and coach other Business Analysts within the programme.
- Work proactively with project teams, providing task estimates, planning input, progress updates, and risk/issue management.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, solve problems, and drive innovative solutions.
- Lead workshops and facilitate discussions to gather requirements and encourage strategic thinking.
Key Skills:
- Proven track record of leading Business Analysis activities across multiple projects and methodologies.
- Strong experience delivering business analysis and readiness work, including: Requirements gathering & stakeholder management, Use cases & business impact assessments, Process mapping (“As-Is” and “To-Be”), Communications & training plan creation, Support and operating model definition (including RACI).
- Skilled in Jira, Miro, and Visio.
- Proficient in analysing large datasets with MS Excel and Power BI.
- Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills, with the ability to challenge and manage expectations at all levels.
- Experience or exposure to Cyber Security risks, tools, and processes.
- Proven ability in implementing Cyber Security metrics and reporting.
- Desirable: Previous experience in a Cyber Security Programme, Recognised Business Analysis qualifications (e.g., BCS, IIBA), Technical or IT-related academic background, Familiarity with Agile and Waterfall methodologies, Awareness of SDLC, NIST CSF, and relevant regulatory frameworks.
