Summary: A public sector organization is seeking a Senior Business Analyst for a 12-month contract to support the delivery of a high-profile, user-focused service. The role involves working in a multidisciplinary environment to analyze, shape, and deliver business and digital change, ensuring services meet user needs and align with organizational goals. The position requires strong stakeholder management and communication skills, as well as experience in Agile delivery frameworks. The successful candidate will lead business analysis activities and collaborate with teams to drive solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead business analysis activities across complex programmes and services.
- Elicit, define and translate business and user needs into clear requirements.
- Analyse current processes, identify improvement opportunities and define target operating models.
- Support the design, development and testing of new services and solutions.
- Assess impacts of change, including business, policy and operational constraints.
- Define success measures and ensure delivery aligns to expected outcomes and benefits.
- Collaborate within multidisciplinary Agile teams to support iterative delivery.
- Engage and influence stakeholders across business and technical teams.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience operating as a Senior Business Analyst within digital environments.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Experience working within Agile or similar delivery frameworks.
- Ability to analyse complex problems and drive solutions through to delivery.
- Experience translating business goals into clear requirements and outcomes.
- Understanding of operating models, business change and service design principles.
